By accessing this website and placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Shipping Policy, and our Returns and Refunds Policy.
Eligibility
By placing an order, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian to make purchases through this website.
Product Condition and Descriptions
All books offered for sale are used and may show varying degrees of wear, markings, aging, or other condition-related characteristics.
We make every reasonable effort to accurately describe and photograph each item. Product descriptions and photographs are provided to help customers evaluate the condition of each book before purchase.
By completing a purchase, the customer acknowledges that all books sold are used items, that condition descriptions and photographs form part of the product listing, and that the customer has reviewed the listing before purchase.
Minor differences in appearance, color, wear, or condition that are consistent with the product description shall not be considered defects or grounds for cancellation, refund, or chargeback.
Order Acceptance
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
We reserve the right to refuse, limit, cancel, or reject any order at our sole discretion, including orders suspected of fraud, abuse, unauthorized activity, or violations of these Terms.
Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD).
Payment is due in full at the time of purchase. Orders will not be processed until payment has been successfully authorized and received.
No Refund Policy
All sales are final.
By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and agrees that purchases are non-refundable except as specifically stated in our Returns and Refunds Policy.
Customers are encouraged to carefully review all product descriptions, photographs, policies, and order details before completing a purchase.
Shipping and Delivery
We ship only within the United States.
All orders include tracking information. Once an order ships, tracking information will be provided to the customer.
Delivery estimates are provided for informational purposes only and are not guaranteed.
We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather events, natural disasters, labor disruptions, holidays, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Delivery Confirmation
Orders shipped with tracking shall be deemed delivered when the carrier's tracking records indicate successful delivery to the address provided by the customer at checkout.
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address.
The customer assumes responsibility for orders delivered to the address supplied during checkout when carrier tracking confirms delivery.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If an order arrives damaged during shipping or the customer receives an incorrect item, the customer must notify us within 3 days of delivery.
Customers may be required to provide photographs of the item, packaging, shipping label, and any visible damage.
Failure to provide requested documentation may limit our ability to investigate and resolve the issue.
Fraud Prevention
To protect customers and our business from fraud, we reserve the right to:
- Verify customer identity
- Request additional order verification
- Cancel suspicious orders
- Refuse service to individuals engaged in fraudulent or abusive conduct
Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If a customer experiences an issue with an order, we encourage the customer to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
By placing an order, the customer agrees to make a good-faith effort to allow us to investigate and resolve any concerns before seeking a chargeback through a bank, credit card issuer, or payment provider.
We reserve the right to submit evidence in response to any chargeback or payment dispute, including but not limited to:
- Order records
- Product descriptions
- Product photographs
- Customer communications
- Tracking information
- Delivery confirmation records
- Policy acknowledgments
- Fraud-prevention verification records
Initiating a chargeback does not automatically entitle a customer to a refund.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to a purchase shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the applicable order.
We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use of this website or the purchase of products through this website.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Walker County, Alabama.
